Digital Transformation and Family Life:

The impact of the digital revolution on family life has become a central topic in contemporary literature. Numerous studies have scrutinized the evolving nature of family communication in the digital age, with a focus on its advantages and challenges. This conference provides a platform to delve into the role of online communities and social networks in shaping family dynamics.

In the Arab context, studies underscore the profound impact of digital technology on family relationships. The adoption of smartphones, social media, and digital communication platforms has drastically altered how Arab families interact and connect, raising important questions about socialization and the preservation of cultural values in the digital era. Furthermore, the impact of the digital age on education, employment, and family roles in Arab societies cannot be disregarded. The conference aims to examine how e-learning and remote work influence educational systems and family cultural norms while shedding light on the challenges and opportunities inherent in Arab families' adaptation to the digital age.

However, the increasing use of social media and digital platforms has also exposed families to new threats, including cyber fraud, cyberbullying, and digital identity theft. This necessitates a concerted effort to raise awareness and promote digital education to enhance family protection. Additionally, it underscores the importance of ongoing reviews of legislation and laws related to family well-being.

The Conference's Objectives:

Confronting the impacts of digital transformation represents a unique opportunity for the field of Arab family studies, which necessitates exploration and discourse within the broader framework of this conference. The primary objective is to deepen our understanding of the challenges and opportunities arising from the digital revolution and to formulate practical recommendations to promote healthy and sustainable family life.
